In just four years, the Guyana Shore Base Inc. (GYSBI) has become one of the fastest growing Guyanese majority-owned companies, creating employment opportunities and driving local content development.
The first two images show the setup of the location in 2016 by Muneshwers Limited to serve as a wharf and container yard after it was purchased from Gafoors. Gafoors went on to construct a new, significantly larger hardware store in McDoom, East Bank Demerara.
At this time, expansion works are ongoing to host 4 berths. The land to facilitate this expansion was secured from E.C Vieira, which has gone on to develop and operate a new facility for a Tier One oil and gas company also at McDoom.
